A group of university and college theatre educators formed the ATL to support and promote theatre in Alabama. In October of 1972, ATL became a non-profit corporation with the filing of its “Certificate of Incorporation.”
And ASF would also like to invite you as their guest to attend:
2:00 pm – 3:30 pm American Mariachi (on the Festival Stage)
Please join us for our annual Fall Summit that brings together theatre artists (educational, professional, and community) throughout Alabama to network and share resources. ACT membership is not required but encouraged. (You must be a member to vote or be eligible for ACT committees or offices.) If you need to join or renew, please fill out the membership form below and bring it with you along with a check or credit card. (Or email or mail it ahead.) This will help speed up the check-in process. We hope to see you there.
We will be following appropriate safety protocols as set by ASF. At this time, a mask is not required, but if you feel more comfortable wearing one, be our guest.
After opening remarks and introductions, we will have two guests speaking with us:
Next up, break-out meetings: These small groups allow for specific sharing within a particular area of interest: Community, Professional, Secondary/High School, College/University, or Theatre for Youth. After a boxed lunch, we will gather back together for the afternoon session to present the ACT Awards, share, discuss ACT topics of interest to all, hold our annual meeting, and elect officers.
Any member of your organization can use the form to register for ACT Membership.
